Designed for efficient preparation, heating and mixing of starch paste, the BTT Series Starch Paste Kettle features a semi-hemispherical vessel, uniform heat distribution, manual tilting arrangement and optional stirring for consistent, lump-free paste preparation.
The BTT Series Starch Paste Kettle is designed for the preparation of starch paste used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and allied processing applications. Its semi-hemispherical vessel design provides uniform heating and increased surface area for efficient paste preparation.
The starch is charged into the kettle and water is added to achieve the required consistency. The kettle can be heated using steam or oil, allowing the starch to melt and form a smooth paste. The tilting arrangement enables convenient unloading of the finished paste.
For applications requiring continuous mixing, the kettle can be equipped with a stirrer/anchor agitator. The anchor can operate in forward and reverse directions through a cyclic timer, helping maintain uniform mixing and minimize lump formation. Temperature can be monitored through the provided dial thermometer.
The kettle is constructed in stainless steel and is available in multiple capacities to suit different production requirements.
